EZCAM Help |
A command is an instruction that tells EZ-CAM to do something. You can quickly choose the most common commands by clicking the buttons on the various toolbars. For example, to create connected lines, click the Connected Lines button on the Geometry toolbar.
In EZ-CAM, commands are grouped on menus. Some commands carry out an action immediately; others display a dialog box so that you can select options.
To choose a command from a toolbar
Position the cursor on the desired button and click.
To choose a command from a menu
Position the cursor on the desired menu command and click. A small arrow to the right of the command indicates that additional options are available on a submenu.
Using the keyboard
To make the menu bar active, press the ALT key and then press the underlined letter in the menu name to display a menu. To choose a command, press the underlined letter in the command name.
For example, to choose Open from the File menu, press ALT, F, O.
To interrupt a command
Press ESC.
If you select a menu by mistake, you can close the menu without choosing a command by clicking outside the menu or pressing the ESC key.
