Check curves are used to limit tool moves to a certain area in the XY plane of the current MCS coordinate system. While Check Surfaces and Check Planes can be used with any of the machining cycles, Check Curves are only used for two purposes.
Define boundaries for the Surface cycle to restrict tool moves to a certain area on either side of the selected check curve(s). This can be controlled by the Start-On parameter.
Define max. 100 island profiles in combination with the Pocketing and Zig-Zag cycles.

Check Curves Rules:
Check Curves that are used to define islands must be a closed curve.
Check Curves may not overlap each other, or the boundary curve, or any islands in the boundary curve.
Note
The Pocketing and Zig-Zag cycles require their boundary profile defined as a closed curve and assigned as path curve in the Path ID list box.
