EZCAM Help |
When loading or saving data, information is stored in different data / file type formats depending on the data type itself (geometry, surfaces, etc.) and the EZCAM module that is used. The different formats are denoted by different name extensions. See the tables below for more information.
Example:
After restarting the software you create a new MILL work piece named Tutorial1. When opening the Save As dialog, the default file type is set to Part Files (3DP). Type Tutorial1 into the Filename section and select the Save button. The software will save the Tutorial1. 3DP part file. Now select Geometry (GEO) as file type and save the file Tutorial1. GEO. When opening this project later by using the Open file menu command, select the Tutorial1.3DP and the associated geometry file Tutorial1.GEO.
The list below shows the most important data types and their extensions.
