3D Preview

One of the most powerful EZ-CAM features is the 3D solid preview function. This function shows an animated tool cutting a solid model of the programmed part. Once the simulation is finished or interrupted by the user pressing "Esc" key, all dynamic view commands to rotate, zoom or move the simulated model on the screen are available. If no Stock Setup has been defined when the '3D Preview' command is called, the system automatically calculates the "Stock" size (Mill), according to the maximum calculated tool movements. In Turn, the stock size is automatically computed based on the Boundary settings located on the Cycle Data dialog.

Only tool moves that have been verified previously using the Verify or Verify All commands are taken into account.
