Post

After the machining program has been created and checked, this command is used to convert the output to a form suitable for the chosen NC-controller type. The format of the ASCII (text) file that is created is defined in the appropriate post processor. The post processor contains details over the format of the various machine commands together with general formatting information about the program structure. The NC-program that is produced can then be sent to the NC-machine.
