Step Mode

This command can be toggled on or off to display each movement of the tool as it follows the verified tool path. To use the Step Mode effectively, follow the instructions listed below.

 

Using the Step Mode:

  1. If necessary, click the Zoom button and select the desired area of the part that you want to see more closely.

  2. Click the Step Mode button.

  3. Click the Verify or Verify All button.

  4. To advance the tool one step at a time, press the Enter key on your keyboard or click your mouse anywhere within the EZ-CAM screen.

  5. To advance the tool rapidly, press and hold the Enter key on your keyboard. (This will not work with the mouse.)

  6. If you want to stop the Step Mode, you must press the Escape key on your keyboard. (You may have to press the Escape key several times to exit this mode.)
