EZCAM Help |
The standard views (XY,XZ,etc.) that are available via the View menu or the corresponding icons in the "View" toolbar are sufficient for most cases. Sometimes however, it is desirable to set the view direction to a freely chosen angle. This option is available through the dynamic viewing commands. Using any of the dynamic "Rotate", "Zoom" or "Pan" functions changes the current view.

When selecting dynamic viewing commands one of the following cursors will be displayed.

Hold the left mouse button down then drag the mouse across the screen. The part will directly follow the cursor movements according to the command selected. When you release the mouse button, the screen will be re-drawn in the new orientation, location or size.

Mouse buttons can perform dynamic viewing actions and can be used as an alternative way of selecting commands from the menu or the toolbars.
Holding down the right mouse button [2] and moving the cursor performs dynamic rotating. Dynamic pan is available on the middle mouse button [3]. Some commands may prevent these actions so you need to press ESC button to stop any active commands before using them.
See Zoom topic for information about zooming by mouse wheel [3] rotation.
