EZCAM Help |
This cycle performs a stepped contour-parallel tool motion that machines the interior of a closed pocket boundary (specified in the Path ID box), or a series of closed pockets connected with rapid links while the tool automatically avoid areas where it might gouge. The standard tool motion from inside to outside can be reversed by the Outside-In option. Step over within the pocket is controlled by the Step Over parameter. A finish allowance can be left by entering a value in the Stock Allowance parameter. Depth is controlled by the Z Depth parameter.
The parameters for this cycle are located in the Tool Info and the Cycle Data Tab. More detailed information is available under each parameter’s help topic.
