EZCAM Help |
The method in which the tool is "stepped over" is controlled by this feature. There are three possible choices: Direct, Twostep, Oneway. If Direct is specified, the tool machines the surface by "stepping over" continuously along the surface following each cut. This particular option is a direct linear move which may cause a gouge in some surfaces. If this is the case, select the Twostep option. Selecting the Oneway option causes the tool to rapid retract to the Z rapid plane at the end of a cut, and a rapid move to the beginning of the next cut is generated. Specifying Oneway ensures that the tool will always cut in the same direction.
