Auto Rounding

Cycle: Contouring, Pocketing, Zig Zag

When this option is checked, all sharp corners are machined with an arc move whose center is the sharp corner point. This provides minimum wasted motion and deburred corners. If Auto Rounding is not selected, then the tool moves past the sharp corner into position for machining the next move.

Automatic gouge checking is performed for most cases when Auto Rounding is selected. If the tool is too large to fit in a small area of the contour, the path will be edited to ensure that the tool does not gouge. However, this gouge checking is not foolproof, and the 2D Gouge Check option should be used to ensure gouge-free contours.
