Multi Regions

Cycle: Contouring, Pocketing, Zig Zag

This option allows you to cut as much of the pocket or contour as possible without gouging areas of the part where the tool may not fit. In many cases, a pocket or contour may have areas which the tool cannot fit through. When a potential gouging condition is detected, the tool will withdraw from the part, rapid to the next safe position, plunge feed, and continue cutting. When Multi Regions is not checked, EZ-MILL will cut only the first area of the programmed path that can be cut continuously without gouging the part. The 2D Gouge Check feature should also be checked when using Multi Regions.
