Total Stock

Cycle: Contouring

This parameter is normally used in combination with Cut Step and Stock Allowance for contour parallel roughing operations. It defines the amount of total stock material that must be removed from the machined curve. The side were the material is going to be removed is defined by the Offset Direction setting. When the Total Stock value is set to zero, only a single tool pass is created.

The number of tool passes is calculated as follows:
