Cycle: Contouring, Pocketing, Zig Zag, Constant Z
Straight

This parameter sets the distance that the tool travels along the first
linear move, while a simultaneous feed-in move (ramp) is made to the Z
Depth level (or Z Step). The tool ramps down to the Z level over the specified
distance, reverses direction back to the start point at the current Z
level to clean up the ramp area, then continues forward.

Zig-zag

Plunge Distance and Angle values are specified to control the Z decent of the tool into the material. The tool will begin ramping downward at the specified angle until it reaches the cut depth. If the cut depth cannot be reached within the specified distance, then the entry will double back on itself as many times as needed to reach the final depth. This entry method allows the tool to enter the work gradually within a confined region, and ensures the tool never descends at angle steeper than it is capable of cutting.

Helical

This parameter is used to specify the radius for helical plunge moves used in 2D or 3D milling operations. Below you can see the graphic example of an contouring tool path with helical plunge move applied. The pitch of the helical moves is defined by the Helical Pitch parameter
