Overview Machining Cycles (TURN)

The Cycle type specifies the machining operation for each Work Step. EZ-TURN provides you with a set of ten standard turn and four live tooling (TurnMill) cycles. In the listing below you will notice that fact there are standard and extended turn cycles. The standard cycles have all parameters and settings placed on the various tabs of the Work Step Data dialogs that can either be accessed using the Work Step Data... command found in the Machining menu or by double-clicking the desired Work Step in Selection List Box. When selected, the extended cycles show an additional dialog that offers settings that are not available on the regular forms. See the How to edit Work Steps topic for more information.
